Who is the Teaching Degree Suitable For?
Our teaching degree is ideal for anyone passionate about becoming a primary school teacher and eager to learn in a supportive, small-scale environment.
Whether you’re a recent school leaver or considering a career change, we welcome students of all backgrounds—there’s no upper age limit!
This programme is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on learning, spending time with children, and fully engaging in the teaching process. While no prior teaching experience is necessary, many of our students come with valuable backgrounds in roles such as Teaching Assistant, Sports Coach, or Leaders in organisations like Brownies or Scouts. These experiences can help build a foundation for your teaching skills, which will be developed throughout the course.
Since we don’t offer on-campus accommodation, all students live in their own homes, which offers a sense of stability and independence. The uniqueness of our course attracts students from various locations, and many travel considerable distances to attend. Don’t let distance be a barrier—your school placement will be based near your home, making it easy to integrate your studies with daily life.
Whether you’re starting your journey or looking to transition into teaching, this degree offers a practical, immersive route into a rewarding career in primary education.
