How do I apply and what fees will I pay?
How to Apply
1. Apply through the UCAS website
You’ll need to submit your academic qualifications and personal details as part of the application.
2. Once your application is reviewed, if you're shortlisted, you'll be invited for the Assessment Day. Make sure to review any preparatory materials provided

To join the Undergraduate BA Hons Primary and Early Years Programme at Haybridge SCITT, here's what you need to do
Entry Requirements
- GCSEs: A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (previously grade C), including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Science
- UCAS Points: A minimum of 112 UCAS points from A Levels or other Level 3 qualifications (conditional offers can be based on provisional grades).
- Assessment Day
- If you meet the academic requirements, you will be invited to an Assessment Day at Haybridge SCITT.
- The Assessment Day will involve a group planning task, discussion, and a formal interview with a member of the SCITT team.
- You will be assessed on your knowledge of the National Curriculum, enthusiasm for teaching, understanding of the role of a primary teacher, and ability to work well in teams.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to speak with other candidates and ask questions about the course.
- Medical and DBS Checks: You must meet the Department for Education’s Initial Teacher Training requirements, which include:
- Being medically fit to teach.
- Successfully completing an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
- Certification: Before starting the course, you’ll need to provide certified certificates/statements for your GCSEs (or equivalent) and A Level qualifications (or equivalent).
Tuition Fees
The tuition fee for the BA Hons Primary and Early Years Education with Qualified Teacher Status (School Based) 3 year programme will be the maximum tuition fee for standard full-time courses.
