What is a teaching internship?
Are you an undergraduate studying maths, physics, chemistry, computing, design and technology or a foreign language? Are you interested in experiencing life as a teacher and being a part of educating future generations?
Have you ever thought about a career in teaching and want to find out what a career in teaching is like?
If so, apply to take part in our Paid Teaching Internship Programme, funded by the Department for Education.
You can be in your second year and above of an undergraduate degree course or be undertaking a master’s course.
This is a 3-week Internship which starts on 15th June 2026 and interns will receive £1,365 for full attendance on completion of the programme.
